Roger Ebert on Chaos

Being fans of Kevin Gage but troubled by excessive violence, we webmasters have been challenged to report objectively on Kevin’s latest film, Chaos. Film critic Roger Ebert helped us out by giving Chaos zero stars, not for its execution but for its lack of moral compass, and recommending that movie-goers avoid it. See our Chaos page for links to his review, the director’s rebuttal, a reply by Ebert, and quite a few comments from readers.

We wrote to Ebert thanking him for his thoughtful analysis, and mentioning the conflict caused by being a Kevin Gage fan. His response was worth sharing: "Kevin Gage was certainly effective, and I was reminded of my feelings about Michael Rooker after seeing Henry, Portrait of a Serial Killer. Hate the film, respect the actor."
